These Terms govern use of the Trakyn platform and apps ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Trakyn provides live tracking, safety alerts, attendance, and reporting tools for school transport. The Service is provided to schools, and made available to their authorised parents and drivers.
Access is granted through the school. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and for activity under their account. Access is limited by role, and you agree not to attempt to access data outside your authorised scope.
Tracking relies on GPS and mobile networks, which can be affected by signal, device, and environmental conditions. We aim for reliable, timely information but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy. The Service is a tool to assist supervision; it does not replace the responsibility of drivers, schools, and parents for student safety.
SOS and alert features notify the school and relevant users within the platform. They are not a substitute for contacting emergency services or for any safety hardware required by law. In an emergency, always contact the appropriate authorities directly.
Fees, where applicable, are agreed with each school. Details are provided separately as part of your arrangement with us.
Our handling of personal and location data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trakyn is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, or from interruptions, inaccuracies, or unavailability of tracking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may suspend or end access for misuse or breach of these Terms. A school may end its use of the Service in line with its arrangement with us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
